Major Equipments of Gaztron's Industrial On-Site PSA Oxygen Gas Plant
- Air Compressor: Provides the initial pressurized air feed for the PSA process, determining overall system efficiency and performance.
- After Cooler: Cools the compressed air, preventing moisture build-up and ensuring optimal adsorbent performance for oxygen separation.
- Moisture Separator: Eliminates water vapor from the air stream, safeguarding the adsorbent beds and maximizing oxygen purity.
- Refrigerated Air Dryer: Further dehumidifies the air, achieving ultra-low dew points critical for high-purity oxygen production.
- Air Receiver: Stores the processed air before entering the PSA system, providing buffer capacity and ensuring smooth operation.
- Three-Stage Air Filtration System: Protects the sensitive adsorbent beds from dust and contaminants for extended service life and consistent oxygen purity.
- Twin Tower PSA System with Automatic Valve: The heart of the oxygen generation process, utilizing molecular sieves to preferentially adsorb nitrogen and release enriched oxygen, achieving up to 93% purity.
- Gas Storage Tank: Stores the produced oxygen for convenient access and continuous supply to your industrial processes.
- Analyser, Auto Drain Valve, Safety Valve, PRV: Crucial auxiliary equipment providing real-time oxygen purity monitoring, automatic condensate removal, pressure safety management, and pressure relief for safe and reliable operation.
Working Principal of Gaztron's Industrial On-Site PSA Oxygen Gas Plant
If a gas mixture such as air, for example, is passed under pressure through a vessel containing an adsorbent bed of Zeolite molecular sieves that attracts nitrogen than it does oxygen, part or all of the nitrogen will stay in the bed, and the gas coming out of the vessel will be enriched in oxygen. When the bed reaches the end of its capacity to adsorb nitrogen, it can be regenerated by reducing the pressure, thereby releasing the adsorbed nitrogen. It is then ready for another cycle of producing oxygen enriched air.
Advantages of Gaztron's Industrial On-Site PSA Oxygen Gas Plant
Gaztron's PSA plants utilize the principle of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) to separate oxygen from atmospheric air. Here's how it works:
- Compressed Air Feed: Pressurized air from the compressor enters the system.
- Moisture Removal: After cooler and moisture separator eliminate water vapor for optimal adsorption.
- PSA Separation: The air stream passes through two adsorbent beds filled with zeolite molecular sieves. These sieves attract nitrogen molecules more strongly than oxygen molecules. As the air flows through one bed, nitrogen preferentially adsorbs, enriching the remaining gas with oxygen.
- Pressure Swing and Regeneration: When one bed reaches saturation, the flow is diverted to the other bed. The saturated bed undergoes pressure reduction, releasing the adsorbed nitrogen and regenerating it for the next cycle.
- Continuous Oxygen Production: This alternating pressure swing cycle between the two beds ensures a continuous flow of enriched oxygen gas to your industrial needs.
Advantages of Gaztron's On-Site PSA Oxygen Gas Generation Plants:
- Cost-Effective: Significantly lower operating costs compared to cryogenic oxygen generation, translating to substantial long-term savings.
